Why is duct cleaning so important?
Let’s start from the ground up. Did you know that the outside of your shoes carry an average of 421,000 bacteria? And that’s just your shoes. Scrubbing your floors will help, and so will dusting. But have you stopped to think about where the dust might be coming from? It’s your air ducts!
Think about it…
Your air ducts are what transfer air between each room of your home. It stands to reason that whatever is settled inside the duct will be blown throughout the home.
Let’s get serious!
With the flu and other infectious diseases going around, and 421,000 on your shoes every day, wouldn’t it be nice to know that the air in your home is as clean as can be?
How can we clean your air?
It’s easy, and generally takes 1 day to complete. That means we can have you breathing better in 8 to 9 hours. It all starts with a free estimate appointment that takes about 20 minutes so that our technicians can get a grasp on what improvements you’d like to make to your homes air. Take a look below at a break down of how we can help, and all that we do!=
The break down:
- Step one is always a face to face estimate. This appointment provides you with an opportunity to tell us what you want and what your budget is. It also gives our technicians the ability to see first hand what they are working with, experience the air for themselves and build an indoor air quality improvement plan that works best for you. This appointment can be as short or as long as you like. We want to be sure that when we leave all of your questions have been answered and you’re satisfied with the plan you and your technician have come up with.
- Step two is the approval. We don’t pressure you to approve your estimate on the spot, but when you’re ready we’re ready! We’ll set you up with a installation day that works best for you! Tomorrow? Next week? Next month? You’ve got it!
- Step three: installation day, the best day yet! Expect our technicians to arrive around 9:00 am to begin working on your duct cleaning. Depending on the level of clean you have selected, we’ll move onto cleaning your furnace and AC unit, then top it all off with the installation of your new humidifier or ionizer if you’ve selected these add ons.
What is it? Ionizers are highly efficient stand alone air filters. Rather than using a fan to draw in polluted air to a filter, the ionizer uses electricity to do all the hard work. How? By using high voltage to electrically charge air molecules. Want more info? Check it out here
